Creation of the association 2008
Laperouse Alaska Association was created in July 2008.
Today, the President is Jackie Schoppert and the Vice-President Philippe Fichet Delavault.
Alaska visiting Albi 2011
A delegation from Alaska came to Albi the city of birth of Laperouse.
Visits of many sites were organized as well as conferences with a large audience.
Albi visiting Alaska 2014
This was the turn for a French delegation to come to visit Alaska for cultural exchanges and visits of Juneau areas. On July 13th, a tribute was paid for all the Natives and French victims of the Kah Lituya.
French Show in London 2017
Delegations of Alaska and Albi met at London in order to promote the philosophical human values of Laperouse on behalf of the French King Louis XVI
Brest 2018
Delegations of Alaska and Albi met in Brest, the port of departure of Laperouse's expedition. This contributed to reinforce the links between our two countries particularly through the building of cultural projects.
November 2018
Laperouse Alaska Association at Université Champollion Albi France working on a cultural project with the Laperouse International Network.
